Course Description
1. The program includes an introduction to teaching and research in the education profession, educational planning for students with special needs, and interventions for students with literacy and numeracy difficulties;
2. Topics discuss differentiation and inclusive educational practices, and teaching Indigenous Australian students, as well as supporting learners with disabilities and challenging behaviour;
3. Primary R-7 curriculum topics deal with teaching in and through the expressive arts, and thinking and working scientifically in the primary years, with mathematics curriculum studies in context;
4. Secondary curriculum topics deal with understanding curriculum development in the middle years of school and senior years specialisations.
