Scholarship Description
Each year the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics (“RSFAS”) within the ANU College of Business and Economics (“the College”) may offer an award known as the RSFAS National University of Singapore Travel Scholarship (“the award”).
The objective of this award is to recruit high calibre of students who are commencing the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Actuarial Studies and Economics degree.
Funding for the award has been provided by the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics.

There is no application as all students admitted to the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Actuarial Studies and Economics degree will be considered for the scholarship by the selection committee.
Students who have applied for admission to the ANU in a previous intake, and then formally deferred their offer may still be considered for this award along with the commencing cohort. These students will need to contact the College Scholarships Office to request consideration for the award. |

1. Requirement: Receives an offer of admission to the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Actuarial Studies offered by the RSFAS within the ANU College of Business and Economics. |

1. A recipient of this award will be required to enrol in a full-time load of 24 units at ANU or equivalent at NUS per semester.
2. A recipient may request a permission, from the Dean of the College (or nominee) to hold the award on a part-time basis if recipients can demonstrate exceptional or extenuating circumstances. If approved, payments of the award will be made on a pro-rata basis.
3. Recipients are expected to maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 % each semester (with the average being calculated across all courses taken in a particular semester). |
